IT care across the Heinsberg district

Everyday IT support in Heinsberg with one named contact

Wasacon looks after the IT of small and mid sized companies in the Heinsberg district: workstations, printers, email, Microsoft 365 and the network behind them. By remote session when speed matters, and on site when somebody has to reach behind the machine.

A remote session solves most of it. The rest needs somebody in the room.

Daily work

What quietly piles up in an office

Most IT faults are small and expensive at the same time. First they hold up one person, then a department, and in the end an appointment with a customer.

  1. The machine starts but nothing on it works

An update, a damaged profile, a drive at the end of its life. We look in remotely and tell you whether this is a repair or a replacement.

  2. Printers and scanners drop off the network

Drivers, queues, network paths, scan folders. A recurring subject in every office and usually sorted out again within minutes.

  3. Email does not arrive or will not go out

Mailbox sizes, forwarding, signatures, spam filters. We follow delivery all the way to the recipient, not only as far as the outbox.

  4. Microsoft 365 asks for a password nobody knows

Accounts, licences, sign ins on new devices. We put the access back in order and record which account belongs to whom.

  5. The Wi-Fi does not reach the warehouse

We measure the coverage instead of putting another repeater next to the last one, and plan the network with UniFi equipment.

  6. Somebody new starts on Monday

Device, account, permissions, mailbox, telephone. Tell us when the contract is signed, not on Monday morning.

Is one of these open at your place right now?

Ways in

Three ways in, one contact

You describe the fault once. After that it stays with the same person until it is gone.

Phone

Call

The shortest way, and the sensible one for anything that has stopped. Two sentences are enough to start.

Email

Write

Good for anything that needs a screenshot, an error message, an order number or a list of the workstations affected.

Remote session

Share the screen

You start the session, you watch the screen throughout and you end it yourself. No connection is made without your release.

On site

At your premises

When something has to be swapped, moved or physically handled, we come to you. The service area is the Heinsberg district.

Prefer to put it in writing? Describe the case in two sentences.

Workstation

A workstation that is finished on day one

A newly built workstation is only finished when the person at it can work without having to ask anyone. These points are part of that for us.

Account and permissions
Sign in, groups, and access to exactly the folders the job needs.
Data carried over
Files, favourites, signatures and templates from the old device, checked rather than merely copied.
Printers and drives
Every device connected, the default printer set, network drives mapped for good.
Backup
The workstation joins the running backup before the first file is created on it.
Encryption and protection
Disk encryption and endpoint protection are configured, not merely installed.
Handover
A short briefing and a written note: what is kept where, and who to call.
A prepared office workstation with two screens and a keyboard
Finished means: sign in, work, ask nobody.

New devices planned? Tell us how many workstations there will be.

Tools

What we work with

A few proven products rather than a catalogue. What Wasacon uses is stated here openly.

Microsoft 365 and Azure
Mailboxes, files and collaboration in the cloud, with accounts and licences that match the size of your company.
Sophos
Protection for endpoints and the network, managed centrally rather than configured on each machine.
Veeam
Backup along the 3-2-1 rule, with a restore that is tested and not only configured.
UniFi
Network and Wi-Fi in one console, so a fault becomes visible before somebody calls about it.
GDPR and BSI baseline protection
The solutions in use comply with the GDPR and follow the BSI baseline protection guidance.

These product names state the technology in use. They do not stand for a partnership and not for a certification.

Does that match what runs at your place? Ask us.

If something is at a standstill right now, a call is faster than any form.

The fields marked „required“ are what we need in order to call you back.

Pictures

The environment this is about

Network, devices, printers, telephone. That is the ground an ongoing IT service covers.

A network switch with blue network cables plugged in
Network and cabling Switch, ports and cabling in one place, labelled and traceable.
A hand opening the case of a computer, a screwdriver lying beside it
A device opened Repair, upgrade, and data recovered from the old drive.
A multifunction office printer standing on a sideboard
Printing and scanning Devices, queues and scan folders that are named the same on every workstation.
A person on the telephone at a desk beside a monitor
On the phone The fault is described once and then stays with the same person.
Two people looking together at a monitor in an office
At the company Three workstations or thirty, the questions are the same.

These photographs show typical working environments and no work carried out by Wasacon.

Area

On site across the Heinsberg district

The office is in Heinsberg. From there every town in the district is a short drive, and for a remote session the distance does not count at all.
